About Kendrick

As a lifelong resident of Escambia County, I consider it an honor to be in a position where I can serve my community. I watched from an early age the impact my father, a retired City Planner for the City of Pensacola and my mother, a retired Escambia County School Teacher had on people through their careers of service. Seeing that impact inspired me to want to serve and give back to the community that has given my family so much.

I am excited about our future and the many opportunities that we have to improve our community. I was fortunate enough to begin my career over 20-years ago at the Visitor Information Center and Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce before moving into healthcare where I have served for the past 11 years as Vice President of Business and Public Relations for West Florida Healthcare.

In addition to my career in business, I am also a proud graduate of our local public school system as well as a graduate of the University of West Florida where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Communication and Leadership. I then went on to receive a second Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University. I have also been honored to serve our community as a board member for the Ronald McDonald House, Congressman Jeff Miller’s District 1 Healthcare Advisory Panel, Community Drug and Alcohol Commission and the “Success by Six” Leadership Council, just to name a few.

While I am proud of my accomplishments, I am most proud of my wife, Theresa, and our two sons, Austin and Brandon.

It is my goal, as a County Commissioner, to pursue opportunities that will make Escambia County, a place where my children and their friends will want to call home for many years to come.

Today, Escambia County is one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. I want to work with you to reverse that trend.

If you have questions or comments about District 4 or Escambia County as a whole, please feel free to contact me so that we can work together for a bright future.
